Have a Photo? Post one TODAY for best results.
Hey All,
We just wanted to post a few stats and a little tip for all of you love-seekers out there.
- Over 90% of all emails to Blossoms.com members are sent to members with at least ONE photo.
What does that mean?
Short form, folks. If you haven’t got a photo onĀ your personal ad, you’re missing out BIG TIME.
No photo = less smiles, less emails, less top 10 Questions, less chat requests.

Smile for the camera!
Ok, so what do you do!?
Find out after the jump.
The BEST Thing you can do to get noticed is upload a photo to the website. If you have a picture on a digital camera or a photo you’ve scanned, you can log in and upload one in just a few moments by going to the “Photos” tab on the main menu. From there, go to Add/Delete Photos, and locate where you have it saved.
We also have a short video to walk you through it.
How to upload a photo on Blossoms.com
If you’ve been trying, and haven’t been able to upload it for some reason, please email it to us with your name and the email address you’re using on our site. We’d be happy to help you!
Ok, folks! Get uploading!

Can I suggest what is helpful for the men looking here? (I think it works for women looking for men also, but I do not feel uqualified to speak for them).
1. A number of photographs
2. At least one close up, at least one full body
3. Nothing overtly sexual (in case you are getting the wrong idea here)
4. Photographs showing you in a variety of home and, if possible, work situations. This helps stop scammers, who often have very limited photographic availability.
5. No sunglasses! They may look cool or feel cool to wear, but honestly dont help in a profile.
6. Please no photographs over say 2 or 3 years old. We almost all looked better 10-20 years ago, but it’s misleading to show them now.
A statement that no money will be requested (or sent) also helps, Scammers seem to come basically in 2 forms- the ‘Russian’ style, emails only and some model photos, but they will never webcam as there is usually no lady to talk to- and the ‘local’ style- attractive young ladies (often early- mid 20s) who will chat on webcam and are who they say they are- but very quickly comes the sob story and request for money.
Fundamentally, it’s all about honesty, but it’s a minefield out thereand seems to be getting worse.
Hi Richard,
These are great tips! We love it!
Could we post these to a main article? We think other members would get a great deal of benefit from this too.
Aloha,
CB Staff
With pleasure, I should be most flattered to have them posted to a main article, and very glad if it helps us all with better communication and less scamming risk!
